LICHEN AND MOSS

Yesterday’s abundant rain left splotches of verdant green all over Central Park.  Almost everywhere I looked this morning–ground, rocks, tree barks–lichen, algae, and moss burst into view, a reminder of hidden life silently waiting for just the right conditions to make itself visible.

    I just purchased a hand held 400 Power Microscope and hope to play when it warms up

  2. Sounds like fun. We’re planning to spend some time in the Hudson area and the Taconic will be our path going there.
