SOME FLOWERS LOVE SNOW

I was flabbergasted this morning when I pulled up the shades and saw that it was snowing.  By noon, the snow had stopped and the sun was shining brightly.  Apparently the posies in the Shakespeare Garden were nourished by their breakfast of frosted flakes.

Or, as another floral admirer commented when he saw me taking pictures: “Unlike us, they know exactly what they’re supposed to do.”
