READ ALL ABOUT IT: STEVE SANDO IN THE NY TIMES MAGAZINE

29food-751WOW.  My friend Steve Sando, purveyor of superb heirloom beans, is featured in The New York Times Sunday magazine today.   It couldn’t happen to a nicer fellow or to more deserving beans.  Order some beans from him at Rancho Gordo (click on my blog roll) and/or read the article at www.nytimes.com.  After getting to the paper’s home page, enter Steve Sando in the SEARCH box and the article will come up–at least for a few days.

Steve has also written a dandy cookbook called HEIRLOOM BEANS, to which I’ve contributed a pressure cooker bean and risotto recipe.  And it’s now on Amazon.com’s best-seller list, no surprise.  Go Stevie!
