I feel very lucky that my publisher, Harper Collins, agreed with me that revising LORNA SASS’ SHORT-CUT VEGETARIAN and changing the title and cover was a good idea. Today is the official pub date!
When the book originally came out in 1997, even though the recipes were all vegan (no dairy or eggs), no one knew what the word vegan meant so we had to use VEGETARIAN in the title. My, how things have changed!
Actually all of my vegetarian cookbooks are vegan and hopefully we’ll change the titles, one by one.
